The 30th National and 11th International Conference on Insurance and Development (ICID 2023) with the main theme of “The Evolution of Insurance Industry Ecosystem: Takaful, Governance, and Modern Technologies” will be held face-to-face on December 3 and 4, 2023 at Tehran, Iran.

The aforementioned title and the following themes of ICID 2023 were confirmed recently by the conference executive committee: ‘Innovative synergy between insurance and takaful’, ‘The role of insurance and takaful in developing research, technologies, and education’, ‘Takaful, conventional insurance, and risk management’, ‘The supervision and corporate governance challenges in insurance and takaful’, ‘Microtakaful and life insurance’, ‘The competencies in the insurance and takaful structures’, ‘Smart governance of the insurance and takaful industry’, ‘Modern technologies and the insurance and takaful industry’, and ‘Modern technologies and the insurance and takaful industry’.

The tentative long-term program of the conference include holding monthly conference pre-events, professional panels, professional forums for doctoral students, post-event workshops, introducing the insurance industry hall of fame, introducing the insurance industry best book of the year, introducing the best officer and manager of the insurance industry, introducing the best views of the takaful and insurance industry, and introducing the best papers.

Those interested to share their ideas and views with their peer colleagues at ICID 2023, can send their papers regarding one of the aforementioned themes of the conference not later than October 8, 2023. The paper acceptance announcement will be November 6, 2023. The other information including registration, time, venue, and other related issues of the conference will be announced soon.

It must be noted that ICID 2023 will be supported by various institutes from across the world including IIUM, INCEIF, MUISEF, TSEV, Taibah University, Kings Global Career Academy, and DMCC.
